ESPE CHiP50 Combined Heat & Power Unit

Combined heat and power (CHP) is a highly efficient process that captures and utilises the heat that is a by-product of the electricity generation process.

By generating heat and power simultaneously, CHP can reduce carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to the separate means of conventional generation via a boiler and power station.

For many organisations, CHP offers the most significant single opportunity to reduce energy costs and to improve environmental performance.

The ESPE CHiP50 co-generator uses wood chips as fuel for gasification. D Jones Electrical Contractors Ltd have recently installed an ESPE CHiP 50 Unit for Geogen Technologies Ltd in Oswestry, Shropshire.
